Jackie's Visit

Our wonderful friend Jackie came over New Years to visit and we had a GREAT time with her (minus a small flu bug)!! Thanks for coming to visit Jacks...you are the bestest friend a girl could ever ask for! Love ya.

Trail of lights 5K

Austin has a very cool Christmas light display in Zilker park and the night before it opens they have a 5k through the park. We had tons of fun and we made a pack to do it each year with our friends Tom and Stacie.

Thanksgiving in Austin

Well, this year was a little bit different for us because we weren't able to go home an d see our families, but we made the best of it!! We went over to a friend's house and enjoyed all the fixin's. I even baked 2 pies and my Aunt Beth's famous "green goop" (broccoli, rice, and cheese casserole). I also made my mom's shrimp salad and all the appetizers. We played darts, sang karaoke and kicked around a hackie sack! Thanks for inviting us over Fatemeh and Jeff!

Happy Halloween!

We venured out to 6th street for halloween and it was CRAZY!! Over 60,000 people on a Wednesday night! We had fun though, and we met the bachelor!! :)

Live Strong 5k

Aaron participated in Lance Armstrong's live strong 5k run and although I had to work that morning I did get to see him finish on the news. Good job honey!

Wakeboarding!!

Our friends Tom & Stacie were kind enough to take me out and teach me how to wakeboard! It was a LOT of fun!! I fell like 40 times!!

Redbull "flugtag"

This is the 2nd time Austin has hosted Redbull's flugtag event where people build non-motorized flying machines and launch themselves off a 30 foot ledge into Town Lake! It was a lot of fun to go watch those crazy people!

Nick & Nicole's wedding!

We came back to CA to celebrate another beautiful wedding with our friends! We had lots of fun and miss you guys tons. Now, you guys need to start planning your trips to come see us!

Our First Anniversary

Aaron went ALL out and surprised me with a chauffeured tour of the Texas wine country and a picnic that recreated our wedding day on our lot where we're building our new home! It was so sweet and thoughtful and we had a very special day. Thanks for all our friends and family who thought about us on our anniversary.
